BRABUS 800

The sedan in a class of its own based on the Mercedes S63 S 4MATIC+. Two newly designed BRABUS high-performance turbochargers with larger compressor unit and a modified core assembly with reinforced axial bearing produce a maximum boost pressure of 1.6 bar. The result of these exceptional modifications gives the BRABUS 800 its name: An unparalleled performance increase by 138.4 kW/188 hp to 588 kW/800 hp at 6,700 rpm.
The BRABUS S 800 accelerates from rest to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds. The striking carbon-fiber exterior components ensure optimal aerodynamic balance and handling stability.
An especially exclusive feature is the stainless-steel BRABUS sport exhaust system with ceramics-coated tailpipes and an exhaust note controlled at the touch of a button in the cockpit. Tailor-made alloy wheels in various sizes with diameters of up to 21 inches and the high-class interior design round off the extravagant masterpiece.

 

 

 

WHEELS AND SUSPENSION: SPORTY LOOKS AND DRIVING DYNAMICS.

The racy BRABUS looks of course also include tailor-made wheels. The BRABUS 800 runs on exclusive “PLATINUM EDITION” hi-tech forged wheels, which fascinate with a combination of large disc design and ten larger and smaller openings each. They break up the surface visually and optimize the venting of the brakes thanks to their sophisticated design.

This vehicle sports the wheel in the combination black and polished on one side. The supercar is presented with sporty-elegant BRABUS Monoblock F cross-spoke forged wheels in sizes 9Jx21 on the front axle and 10.5Jx21 at the rear. These wheels are mounted with high-performance tires of sizes 255/35 ZR 21 at the front and 295/30 ZR 21 on the rear axle. Matching the ultra-low-profile tires, BRABUS lowers the ride height of the BRABUS 800 by about 15 millimeters with a special control module for the suspension, which further optimizes the driving dynamics.

Customers can also opt for other BRABUS Monoblock wheels, which are available for the Mercedes S-Class with diameters ranging from 18 to 22 inches.

The high-performance tires  are supplied by BRABUS technology partners Continental, Pirelli or YOKOHAMA.

 

 

 

 

POWER & SOUND: BRABUS TURNS IT UP

The current Mercedes S 63 is powered by a twin-turbo V8 with a displacement of 3,982 cc and is thus perfectly prepared for the BRABUS 800 performance upgrade. This modification includes two BRABUS high-performance turbochargers with larger compressor unit and redesigned core assembly with reinforced axial bearing. They produce a maximum boost pressure of 1.6 bar.

The engine produces a peak output of 588 kW / 800 hp at 6,700 rpm and a peak torque of 1,000 Nm at 3,600 rpm, propelling the BRABUS 800 from rest to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 300 km/h. The standard-spec 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive guarantees outstanding traction. The nine-speed automatic transmissions either sorts the gears on its own or can be shifted manually with the BRABUS RACE aluminum paddle shifters.

A plug-and-play BRABUS PowerXtra module is connected to the electronic engine controls of the vehicle and provides the engine with new mapping for injection and ignition, which was fine-tuned during extensive bench tests and test drives. In addition, this control unit also regulates the electronic boost pressure control. The result of these engine modifications is an increase in peak power output by 138.4 kW / 188 hp and a bump in torque by 100 Nm.

The ideal complement to this upgrade is a BRABUS stainless sport exhaust with actively controlled flaps. The driver can select the different settings of the electronic sound management in the cockpit and thereby change the exhaust note to suit his taste. One option is the subtle “Coming Home” mode, which is quieter than the V8 with the production exhaust. In the “Sport” position, the eight-cylinder sounds even more thrilling and powerful than in standard specification.

 

 

 

 

INTERIOR – AS INDIVIDUAL AS YOU.

Another BRABUS domain is exclusive interior design. Large parts of the interior are covered with especially soft and breathable “Mondial Black” BRABUS fine leather. Blue piping in concert with a gray decorative stitch and a sweeping upholstery design on the seats sewn with pinpoint precision emphasize the sporty-luxurious looks.

BRABUS carbon-fiber elements in the sporty “Chequered Flag” design with matte sealant replace the production wood inlays. The sporty interior appearance also includes aluminum components such as the BRABUS RACE paddle shifters, pedals and door pins.

An equally elegant and functional BRABUS Business center console was integrated into the rear compartment. It houses a retractable table for each of the rear bucket seats.
